What can a Victron system do in an RV?

30-amp and 50-amp RV considerations
RV shore-power configuration affects the design. A 30-amp coach and a 50-amp coach have different AC arrangements. Large inverter systems, split-phase arrangements and parallel inverter designs require careful planning around transfer behavior, load management, wiring and protection.
Before equipment is selected, confirm what must operate from battery power and what can remain shore-power-only.

Why installation details matter
High-current DC equipment needs short, appropriately sized conductors, secure terminations, suitable overcurrent protection and serviceable component placement. AC wiring, grounding and transfer functions must also match the coach and equipment instructions.
Monitoring is useful only when sensors and settings reflect the actual battery bank and current paths. Commissioning should include configuration and functional checks, not only mounting the boxes.
